Copyright Policy & Takedown Procedure
Last updated: 2026-09-07
slack-emoji.com (the "Site") is an online service provider that stores and displays images uploaded by users. We respect the copyrights, likeness rights and other rights of third parties and respond to infringement claims under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512) and Articles 102–103 of the Korean Copyright Act.
1. How to submit a takedown notice
Send the following to dmca@slack-emoji.com or use the report form:
- Name and contact details (email, phone, address) of the rights holder or authorized agent
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed (title, broadcast/film details, source URL)
- Location of the allegedly infringing material on the Site (emoji page URL or emoji name)
- Evidence of ownership (registration, contract, official channel link, etc.)
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on their behalf
- A physical or electronic signature
Valid notices are acted on within 2 business days: the material is taken down and the notifier is informed. Incomplete notices may be returned for completion.
2. Counter-notice
An uploader whose material was removed may submit a counter-notice containing: identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, contact details, consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the uploader's district (or, if outside the U.S., any district where the Site may be found), and a signature. The counter-notice is forwarded to the original notifier; if they do not notify us of a court action within 10–14 business days, the material may be restored.
3. Repeat infringer policy
The Site has no user accounts. Infringement history is tracked by the IP address recorded at upload. Uploads from an IP address with three valid takedowns are blocked.
4. Likeness and publicity rights
Claims regarding likeness, name or publicity rights are accepted through the same procedure and handled under the same standard.
